Marcus Okonkwo has a chemistry background and spent eight years in environmental consulting before joining the watershed authority. He is direct about what almost stopped the project.
What almost derailed the rollout?
Sensor calibration drift. We had legacy probes in the field that had not been serviced on schedule. Netisen helped us build a calibration workflow into the platform — technicians get alerts when a sensor is due, and out-of-calibration readings are flagged before they enter the compliance record.
How did your analysts’ day-to-day change?
They analyze instead of assemble. Junior analysts who spent their first year copying numbers between spreadsheets now start with anomaly investigation on day one. Retention improved — that surprised us.
